The Dragons Back.

So we were left to our own devices for a few hours and after hearing the tradgic news about Chris we decided to get out and escape the hordes and climb the Dragons Back and go looking for Big Wave Bay.

Hong Kong

The land of small people and tall buildings. Donald picked us up from the airport and hooked us up with octopus cards which led to allot of debating over the 8 applications for the card, and why it was so cold?! It was also decided we should try include 8 forms of transport before leaving. Stayed with Donald out at his flat in Tai Po Market, where he kindly acted as a our personal tour guide ie taking us up the mountain in the the clouds on a gonadal to see the 'Big Buddha' and the sights such as the tram up the hill, and everything else inbetween including lots of frantic dashing and diving on and off various forms of public transport.

The next few images were taken on the phone due to my (ewan) amazing last min "I never forget anything important" packing skills and neglecting to realise a camera charger may be useful.

D Day!

With questions along the lines of "Soo...what did you pack?" and "where are we actually going?" we waved goodbye to our familys, (and sadly for the last time to Chris) and wandered off looking for a flight to London and the start of our adventures.
